ahhhh; this star pattern. i love all my patterns, but this may be my favourite. It's so pretty, but without being twee.
i lino printed the stars individually, scanned and vectorised theM, and then spent what felt like years arranging them into a pattern. the pattern is connected but broken which I really like, because it feels so much less 'formal'.
the print is AVAILABLE IN MY SOCIETY6 STORE in a range of colours and on lots of products. and, as always, the pattern suits so many room types.
i have the grey-on-white print (the reverse print of the curtains featured above) on a cushion/throw pillow in my scandinavian-feel bedroom and it looks great with my neutral colour scheme and wooden furniture. AT SOME POINT I'LL HAVE TO TAKE A PHOTO OF IT AND SHOW YOU THE CUSHION IN ALL IT'S SPLENDOUR, BUT I'M CURRENTLY DECORATING, SO I MAY BE SOME TIME...
This print would also look great in a nursery OR a kids room, but really, the pattern is subtle and never overwhelming, so add interest to an otherwise plain room with the window curtains, or floor cushion.
it's. just. so. pretty.
Here's a little introduction to my lino printed cactus pattern.
I originally created it years ago, but with cactuses / cacti becoming so popular in the last few years, I decided to bring it back in a lino-printed version. anything that gives me the opportunity to cut my hands to shreds with sharp tools, is always a good idea!
At present I offer the print in black & white, pink & white, and green & white, but I'm sure I'll be adding more colors to the range. because...why not.
the above slide show gives a few examples of what sort of products you can find the print on, but more is available in my society6 store.
the reverse print, with the colored cactus print on an off-white (it's not bright white) background, is especially good if you want to mix a few new items in with existing white bedding, or if you want a pattern that is not too overpowering.
I love this pattern. obviously, i'm biased, because it's my pattern, but oh well, whatever....nevermind.
IT'S A LITTLE BIT RETRO BUT STILL MODERN.
there's rainbows, there's stripes and there's lots of different color options.
there's pink and PASTEL rainbow stripes for girly girls, blue and teal stripes that feel a bit beachy and surf-like to me, and gorgeous yellow and orange rainbow stripes for a sunny 60's and 70's feel.
along the bottom of the above image, you'll notice monochrome and more muted color palettes, because maybe you want a classier, more elegant rainbow stripe for your room?
of course, this pattern is available on lots of bed & bath products other than the comforters displayed above, as well as on apparel & accessories: cushions/pillows, pillow shams, duvet covers, throw blankets, organizer/carry-all pouches (great for music festivals & travelling), shower curtains, bath mats, towels, wall hangings, window curtains, bags and backpacks, mugs, phone covers, etc, etc.
Just click the image to be taken straight to the wonderland that is my society6 store.
have you seen my doodle line art pattern yet? i drew it by hand and It's my favourite!
the print/pattern is available in over 50 colors, (coral being the latest) and suits a massive variety of room styles:
clean & modern (BUT NOT BORING!) - yes
minimaL, with an accent coloR - yes
scandinavian style - yes. the pattern compliments clean, uncluttered but cosy rooms while providing a bit of interest.
mid century modern - yes. the curvy, swirly pattern and clean lines go so well with all things mcm. it's modern but retro and I have some really cool colors AVAILABLE.
bedrooms, living rooms, dens, snugs, nurseries, beach houses, conservatories, indoor cushions, outdoor cushions - yes, this print is perfect for them all.
Are you looking for A CERTAIN COLOR PALETTE? i have them all covered - neutrals, pastels, brightS, darks, desaturated colors and retro colorS. if you want a colOr I don't currently offer, just let me know and i'll sort that out for you.
if you are wondering where you can buy my DELIGHTFUL print from, i shall tell you:
SOciety6 - for the whole range of decor & accessories, from throw pillows (indoor & outdoor), to curtains, comforters and bath/hand towels.
i especially like the fabric society6 use for their throw pillows, or cushions as we call them in the uk. the cushion (pillow!) inserts are also really fat and squishy - there will be no mean, pathetic, lifeless pillows/cushions when you order from s6!
REDBUBBLE - most of the decor, PLus a slightly bigger range of apparel. at redbubble you can choose to buy a cushion/pillow cover without the insert, if you are just looking to refresh your room.
redbubble is also great for us folks outside the USA, as they have european manufacturers too. that means a lot of items (please check Redbubble before ordering) are made & shipped from europe, so you don't get slammed with extra fees - especially the extortionate royal mail 'handling' fees. although it should be pointed out that society6 refund extra shipping costs/fees for your first order.
zazzle - if you are zazzle devotee - maybe you have zazzle black? - then I sell this print as cushions/throw pillows, duvet covers and fabric. on zazzle you can choose from cotton or polyester covers, with or without zips, and indoor or outdoor.
SPOONFLOWER - if you want this pattern as a large scale print, head over to my spoonflower store, where it is available on a vast array of fabrics and as wallpaper. their sister site roostery also offers this print on home decor.
IF YOU love cacti AND pastel colorS - LOOK NO FURTHER!
I HAVE TITLED THIS PRETTY CACTUS PHOTOGRAPH "I STAND ALONE' AND IT IS AVAILABLE AS AN ART PRINT IN MY SOCIETY6 STORE, AS WELL AS ON A SELECTION OF HOME DECOR. I'VE GIVEN YOU A FEW EXAMPLES ABOVE, BUT CHECK OUT MY STORE FOR ALL AVAILABLE PRODUCTS.
